It really has been a while since I last put a journal entry in here... a year and 4 months-ish. I dont really know why I'm deciding to update this now, since I don't need to, but there is nothing worth watching on TV right now, aside from reruns of shows that have been on again and again.
I have a job again, at the last entry I was about to lose my job. I havent had good luck with that, but I also gave up on the temp crap. They dont treat you like a real employee. So, now I have a job, a good one too, that I enjoy. The pay is decent and I'm hopeful that I will so be able to get out of my crappy apartment into a house. The house might also be a little crappy, but at least it would be mine. I learned a month ago that my landlord decided that she needed to do something else with our rent money and the house *might* go into foreclosure. Lovely. Hopefully she actually bothered to pay the $ that she still owes on this crappy house, so I at least dont end up without a place completely. I'll look forward to moving when the time comes. The frost really did a number to this place over the winter. The foundation is starting to buckle and seriously, within a few years, this house will probably be close to being on the condemned list. Its a cute place, but the house... sucks. Anyways, on to less crappy topics.

One of my best friends is getting married this summer. I know she's a wee bit irritated by the process and some that are being less than helpful to the process, namely I think its her parents (they like the guy, I think... they just... well, she's a very eccentric person and wants a very non-traditional wedding and they detest the idea.) But she's been with the guy for years and its about time they actually tie the knot. And on the bright side, I'm the maid of honor, which really is an honor. She's the only person that I think has ever thought me a good enough friend to ask me to be there for her. On the down side, the best man is an ex-boyfriend... *sigh* But, I dont have to dance with him, so I can survive. Oh, Mel my dear~ the things I do for you.

On another note... oh, to the hell with trying to think of something else to write about, I'm too damn tired. I shouldnt be, its not even 10pm.
